Travel agents share flight requests in WhatsApp groups all day, as messages and as screenshots. This bot sits in those groups and answers them.
Every new message is read; images go through OCR first. A classifier decides whether the message is a flight search or ordinary conversation, and it gets better as staff correct it. For a flight search, the details are extracted and normalised, availability comes from the PrimeX API, the agency’s markups are applied, and the bot replies in the group, tagging the person who asked.
